Band
Fahrgeschäft was born in 2006 out of the happy collusion of three musicians from Luxembourg and Germany. The band started as a more classical rooted jazz combo – bass, guitar, drums – and soon evolved into something more adventurous with the addition of special guests.
Fahrgeschäft’s sound came together in a unique way: a rhythm section mixing jazz, funk and rock, and featuring horn and wood players from quite different horizons.
The first album, Crosslink, was recorded and released in 2009 with Christof Thewes, a free Jazzer from Germany on the trombone. Since then the group had the pleasure to play with trumpeter Carlo Nardozza and appeared many times with the saxophone player Robby Glode,
